Bmi announces increased services to Jordan
Bmi has announced (26-Feb-09) that as of 22-May-009 it is increasing its services between Amman and London Heathrow from 7 to 10 flights per week. The addition of further flights is in recognition of Bmi's dedication to the region and an indicator of how important Jordan is to the airline. The move marks significant further investment on the part of Bmi in both Jordan and the wider Middle East region.

Managing director of Bmi, Peter Spencer said, 'We are delighted to be able to further our commitment to Jordan by increasing our Heathrow flight frequency from 7 to 10 per week. Since launching the route, we have experienced strong growth and increasing demand and this additional capacity will mean greater flexibility for our passengers, whether they are travelling on business or pleasure.'

In turn, Sales Manager at Bmi Jordan Maysa Layyous said, 'Increasing the frequency rate to Jordan is intended to enhance the travel experience aboard Bmi on all levels, even in the context of the current economic downturn. In fact, this step comes in light of other investment projects Bmi is conducting across the region.'

Bmi is also increasing its services to Lebanon, and also introducing the impressive Airbus A330 on the Cairo route - which brings with it flat beds and a premium economy cabin.

Bmi additional services for 2009 include a Chauffeur Drive option on key business routes and totally paperless boarding and mobile check-in on all domestic routes from Heathrow.
