The carrier recently gained rights to launch services to Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi in the southern India state of Kerala. Both routes are expected to increase to daily services from Oct-07.

Etihad also recently announced plans to increase frequencies from Abu Dhabi to Khartoum, Cairo, Doha, Beirut, Damascus and Manama this Summer. Meanwhile, Etihad has brought forward the launch Abu Dhabi-Dublin service to 02-Jul-07, a month earlier than scheduled. The route will be launched the day after Gulf Air suspends loss-making Bahrain-Dublin service.
