Amsterdam Airport Schiphol welcomes Emirates Airlines
Emirates Airlines announced today that it will be operating flights to and from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol from Dubai effective 1 May 2010.

Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is delighted to welcome Emirates Airlines,, which the airport says is an excellent complement to the existing airlines operating flight services to and from Schiphol. Emirates Airlines will enhance the quality of the airport's network and strengthen the competitive position of the Mainport Schiphol. Emirates Airlines is one of the few airlines to operate direct flights to six different continents from its hub in Dubai.

Starting on 1 May, Emirates Airlines will operate a daily Boeing 777 flight to Amsterdam, offering passengers a selection of three different comfort levels.

Cargo
Emirates Airlines has been operating up to six weekly cargo flights to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol since 1994, using 747-400 full freighters.
