Kuwait Airways re-implements code share agreement with Ukrainian Airlines
Kuwait Airways Corporation will be re-implementing its Code Share Agreement with Ukrainian Airlines on the Kuwait-Kiev route from 20th June, with four weekly flights using Ukraine Airline equipment.

Saud Al-Mokhaiziem, Kuwait Airway’s Deputy Director for Planning and International Affairs, stated that the agreement would enable Kuwait Airways to operate and provide services to its customers on the Kuwait-Kiev route.

He mentioned that the various booking systems on this route could use Kuwait’s ‘KU’ code for both departures and arrivals, and the agreement would also involve placing sign boards in Kuwait and Kiev airports. In addition to this, under the coder share, Kuwait Airways would also be able to receive bookings directly through the central booking system, as well as through authorized travel agencies. Members of the carrier’s frequent flyer programme, Oasis Club, using Kuwait Airways tickets are also earn extra miles when travelling on these flights.

Al-Mokhaiziem pointed out that the code share agreements are a part of the carrier’s efforts to expand operations to cover wider regions in cooperation with other international airlines and it was made available without added financial costs.
