Plaza Premium Arrivals Lounge opens at Muscat International Airport

Dr. Juma bin Ali Al-Juma, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Airports Management Company SAOC (OAMC), inaugurated the lounge and cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the new lounge facilities. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Gautam Broota, General Manager of Zahara Travel and Service Bureau, senior officials from OAMC, Royal Oman Police, Airline Managers, Corporate heads and General Managers from the travel and tourism industry in Oman.

The Arrivals Plaza Premium Lounge is available to all passengers regardless of airline or class of travel. Meet, Greet and Assist services is available for a fee, arrival passengers at Muscat International Airport can relax and benefit from an unlimited use of the lounge facilities whilst their visa formalities are being processed offering a fast track immigration services. Whilst the guest relaxes and the documents are being processed the Guest Service Officer keeps the client waiting informed.

Value added services such as Baggage collection, assistance at customs and transportation to their final destination is offered. Special arrangements for VIP services are also arranged.

Focused on high quality service, the new lounge guarantees customers privacy in a relaxed one-of-a-kind atmosphere. The arrivals lounge facility will greatly benefit business visitors, tourists, the elderly and children travelling by themselves. Emphasizing on Plaza Premium’s enhancement of the overall ambience & experience at the Airport, Mr. George Bellew, CEO of OAMC, said, “The opening of this lounge is another important step in our drive to keep improving the services for travelers using Muscat International Airport”.

The plush Interior design of the lounge is modern contemporary with several Oman’s artifacts and paintings by Omani artists. Thus providing the guest with an introduction to Omani arts. The lounge caters to 32 passengers at any one time. The unique facilities at the lounge includes a business centre, internet access points, a shower room, TV, reading materials and a selection of food and beverages. Mr. Song Hoi See, Chairman of Plaza Premium Lounge worldwide, said the lounge offers the international and local guests a warm welcome on their arrival and ease of immigration processes whilst they relax and enjoy the modern facilities in the lounge.
