bmi announces new service to Jordan
bmi, the second largest British airline operating out of London's Heathrow, has announced details on its news services to and from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as of the 28th October 2007. Regular non stop flights will depart Amman Airport to Terminal 1 at Heathrow at 11:05 am on Tuesday 29th of October 2007. Services from Heathrow Terminal 1 to Amman Airport will operate at 9:00 am on Tuesdays.

Commenting on the new services, local bmi representative, Mr Saad Jaber, stated: "bmi is extremely enthusiastic about what it can bring to the Jordanian market. bmi will now offer a daily flights to London. This not only allows the bmi customer to explore London and the UK for business or pleasure but also allows them to avail of the many other destinations that bmi connects to in Europe and the US,”

Coinciding with the launch of the new route, bmi is introducing major enhancements to its in-flight products. These include improved food and drinks services on all mid-haul and long-haul routes, new amenity kits and kids' packs, and in-flight entertainment offering up to 22 films, including the latest blockbuster movies.

Business Class travellers enjoy a host of facilities aboard bmi flights. Along with a 50" seat pitch, the carrier boasts individual video screens that deliver a range of programming, as well as Audio Visual On-Demand (AVOD) entertainment on certain flights.
