Dubai Aerospace Enterprise to invest in India's aerospace industry
(CAPA) Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) announced plans to invest several billion dollars in India's aerospace industry in areas including leasing, maintenance, airports and pilot training. DAE additionally plans to establish an aerospace research and development centre in India.

According to Reuters, Bob Johnson, CEO, stated, “India's aviation sector has great promise and is accelerating with significant growth in domestic and international traffic".

Meanwhile, DAE and General Electric (GE) signed an MoU to jointly explore opportunities for aircraft financing and leasing. GE will additionally provide support in achieving competencies in MRO activities, and provide expertise on the management and operations of airports and security systems.
