Gulf Air signs training agreement

(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation: Gulf Air and the Labour Fund have signed an agreement to establish a channel of joint cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of the kingdom. The agreement is to support the establishment the World Wide Call Centre in Bahrain. As per the agreement, the Labour Fund will financially back the training of some 200 Bahrainis for the job at Gulf Air's call centre.

The Bahrainis will be trained in batches of 15 trainees at a time with a projected completion in June 2008. The five-week program consists of training in basic reservation system, advanced fares and ticketing, customer service and sales course.
