Etihad Chauffeur Service to introduce new limousines
(c) Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation: Etihad Airways has further enhanced its ground services with the phased introduction of a new fleet of luxury limousines for diamond first and pearl business class customers using the airline’s “Etihad Chauffeur” service. Since its launch in 2005 Etihad Chauffeur has established itself as one of the airline’s most popular ground services with more than 12,000 customers using the service every month in the UAE.

The new fleet will be rolled-out in the UAE from 1 January 2008, with different vehicles for diamond first and pearl business class.

Etihad Chauffeur offers premium customers a luxury transfer to and from Etihad’s home base at Abu Dhabi airport to any location in the United Arab Emirates. The new fleet of limousines will operate initially to Dubai and the Northern Emirates from 1 January 2008 and across the whole of the UAE by 1 February.

When flying into Abu Dhabi airport, customers are met by an Etihad staff member or chauffeur and escorted to their limousine, ensuring little time is wasted at the airport.

Whilst using “Etihad Chauffeur” premium customers can enjoy the special features of the service including refresher towels, fresh mineral water and daily newspapers.

The luxury service is now available to Etihad’s premium customers in several of Etihad’s key global destinations including London Heathrow, Manchester, New York, Munich, Frankfurt and Sydney, with many more to be added throughout 2008.

The new fleet of limousines is provided by UAE-based Prime Limousine.
