South Africa’s Interlink to operate to Jeddah

South Africa’s Interlink to operate to Jeddah
Interlink Airlines, a private South African carrier established in 1997, announced plans to launch operations from its Johannesburg base to Jeddah in mid-March. The carrier will initially operate a single weekly frequency.
Interlink was founded as a charter and leasing operations, but has since developed the capacity to operate scheduled services. It has already successfully operated Middle East charter services, catering to Haj and Umrah pilgrim traffic, as well as other charters, tour operations, transport of sports bodies

South African President, Thabo Mbeki, visited the Kingdom this week, and has promoted tourism between the two countries. According to the South African Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, the two nations are looking to further promote and develop their bilateral partnership at all levels.
