Virgin Atlantic biofuel demonstration flight a success

Virgin Atlantic confirmed that its biofuel demonstration flight, which took place on the 25-Feb-08, was a success.
The Boeing 747-400 took off from Heathrow Airport and landed at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The aircraft reached an altitude of 25,000 ft - which was the planned highest altitude it would reach. It had five people onboard, including Captain Geoff Andreason.
The Virgin Atlantic flight flew with biofuel composed of Babassu oil and coconut oil.
