(CAPA FREE) Qatar Airways and Boeing held a signing ceremony at the Dubai Air Show on 11 Novmber, 2007 to mark the airline's order for 30 787 and five 777 freighters. The airplane deal is valued at over USD6.1 billion at list prices. The airplanes were previously listed on Boeing's Orders & Deliveries Web site as unidentified.

(CAPA) Qatar Airways is preparing for its second European route of the year, ahead of the launch of non-stop scheduled flights to the Swedish capital, Stockholm, on 27-Nov-07. Qatar Airways will operate four non-stop flights a week between Doha, capital of the State of Qatar, and Stockholm-Arlanda International Airport, which will be the carrier's first gateway city to Scandinavia.
