The value of the business, including a Total Care long-term services agreement, is USD460 million at list prices, with deliveries due to begin in 2009.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES : (CAPA) Oman Air has signed an agreement to acquire six Boeing 787 aircraft from Kuwait's ALAFCO Aviation Lease And Finance Company. The carrier will be the first in the region to operate the new Boeing aircraft, with deliveries expected from 2012 to 2015.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES : (CAPA) Oman Air and Aviation Lease And Finance Company (ALAFCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding for the lease of six Boeing B787s aircraft for a term of twelve years. Oman Air would be the first airline in the Gulf region to lease the aircraft, which are expected to be delivered to the carrier in 2012, 2014 and 2015.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES : Oman Air, the national carrier of Sultanate of Oman which is 82% owned by the Government, is scheduled to launch its inaugural flight to Riyadh and Jeddah this month. It will fill the gap in the market left by Gulf Air when it halted direct operations to these destinations from Muscat this earlier this year.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES : Oman Air announced plans to launch daily non-stop scheduled services between Muscat, capital of the Sultanate of Oman, and London Gatwick in November 2007. The new route is considered a significant milestone for Oman Air, as it is the carriers first new long haul route as part of plans to expand it route network to encompass more international destinations.
